Engine Management

The engine management light is one of several lights clustered together on your dashboard. It will light up when you turn the ignition on and should then switch itself off pretty much straight away. If it doesn’t go off, it’s possibly a sign that there is an issue somewhere in the engine so the safest thing to do is to get in touch with the team at Series 9. Remember, it doesn’t necessarily mean a big, expensive fix will be required – engine management lights can also signify trivial issues which can be remedied easily and won’t hurt your wallet either.

The light is connected to your car’s Engine Control Unit (ECU) and at our workshop in Nottingham, we use the latest software to download the error codes from the ECU which enable us to identify the source of the problem and to get your car back on the road for you as quickly as possible.

Repairs and maintenance for your car can sometimes be unexpected. If you would prefer to spread the cost over four months, interest-free, please ask any of our staff about Payment Assist. Four equal payments following completion of a short application form and that’s it. Just one of the many ways we look after our customers every day.
